Kelly Higgins, a sophomore on the NC State volleyball team, submitted answers to GoPack.com recently on a variety of subjects, most having nothing to do with volleyball. A Textile chemistry major from Wilmington, N.C., Higgins battled a host of injuries throughout last season and saw limited action as a freshman, playing in 13 games of seven matches. A Dean's List student both semesters, Higgins was named NC State Scholar-Athlete both semesters and was also selected to 2004-05 ACC Academic Honor Roll.

KH: Kel, Ace, K-Higgs
GoPack: What is the funniest nickname on the team?
KH: Goggs - Amy

KH: Major, location, volleyball

KH: Doctor

GoPack: What was your most embarrassing moment on the court?
KH: Before serving I always bounce it on the ground, but it hit my foot and flew to the other side of the court.
GoPack: What has been your greatest moment outside of volleyball?
KH: Finding out I had won the Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year Award after a great weekend
