It's been said that NC State vs. Virginia Tech is the best home opener in school history. Thanks to our friends at St. Lawrence Homes, we are going to have the best pre-game free concert in NC State history. The Wolfpack Fan Zone (located between the RBC Center and Carter-Finley Stadium) will host a free concert starring "Nik & The Nice Guys" starting at 4:30 PM on Sunday, September 4th as the Wolfpack gears up to play the defending ACC Champions - Virginia Tech. "Nik & The Nice Guys" are a high-energy "rock & jock" show band who have performed scintillating shows at world famous sporting events all over the globe including ten Super Bowls, the Summer and Winter Olympics, The New York City and Boston Marathons, All-Star Games for the NBA, NHL and MLB and its been the house band for two National TV Shows - "ESPN's Lighter Side of Sports" and "The Bob Uecker Sports Show".

Nik & The Nice Guys will crank up a two-and-a-half hour pre-game party and entertain the Pack fans right up until kickoff of the NC State - Virginia Tech clash. In addition to this foot-stomping show, the Wolfpack Fan Zone will be packed with free food, prize drawings and games for fans to enjoy. It will be a fun and festive way to enjoy your Labor Day weekend with your favorite Rock n' Roll hits and your favorite team - the NC State Wolfpack. See ya there!
