Andrea Bentley, a sophomore on the NC State volleyball team, submitted answers to GoPack.com recently on a variety of subjects, most having nothing to do with volleyball. A Biological sciences major from Cary, N.C., Bentley played libero for the Pack last season and led the team with 334 digs and a 3.09 digs-per-game average. She recorded a career-high 18 digs in the season opener versus Wofford and had double digit dig totals in eight of 10 matches played in the month of October. A Dean's List student both semesters, Bentley was named a NC State Scholar-Athlete both semesters. She was also selected to 2004-05 ACC Academic Honor Roll.

GoPack: What is the funniest nickname on the team?
AB: Gogs (Amy)
GoPack: What has been your favorite class taken at NC State?
AB: English, I had a great professor!
GoPack: If a movie were made about you, which actor would you pick to play the part of you?
AB: Keira Knightley
GoPack: Why did you choose to come to NC State?
AB: It is close to home and I love the girls on the team!!
GoPack: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
AB: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader ... I mean who didn't when you were raised in Dallas, Texas?
GoPack: Nobody knows how much you like to what?
AB: Eat ... I am always stuffing my face
GoPack: What was your most embarrassing moment on the court?
AB: When a ball came flying at my nose and I broke it for the third time and they had to clear the court ... ohhh how embarrassing
GoPack: What has been your greatest moment outside of volleyball?
AB: Travelling to Italy with my best friends and being able to experience front row seats to the last Easter Mass by Pope John Paul II
GoPack: What pregame rituals do you have?
AB: Dancing in the locker room before putting on my headband and wristband

AB: Mischa Barton
GoPack: What are your favorite hobbies?
AB: Swimming, golf, hanging out with friends

AB: My family, they have shown me so much support and encouragement. I love you!
GoPack: If you were in charge of practice for a week what would you have the team do?
AB: Crazy defense drills, clock drill and work on passing
GoPack: Which teammate is most likely to be a head coach one day?
AB: Kelly Higgins
GoPack: Who is the funniest member of the team?
AB: Stephanie Sims, she is always upbeat, full of energy and always makes me laugh!
