NC State women's golf signee Lauren Doughtie shot a 73 to tie for fourth place at the US Amateur Championship qualifying round at Fieldstone in Greenville, Del., on June 29. The incoming freshman from Suffolk, Va., beat Meghan Bolger in a playoff to qualify for the U.S. Am, which will be held Aug. 1-7 at Ansley Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga.

Lorraine Ballerano, Molly Birmingham and Jessica Vincent, all current Wolfpack golfers, will compete in a US Amateur qualifying round July 6 at Sapona Country Club in Lexington, N.C.
