Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields. Each month two Wolfpack Scholar athletes will be selected as a member of the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team. To be named to the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 GPA for at least one semester and be a full-time student at NC State.
During the Spring 2005 semester 236 Wolfpack Student Athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.00 or higher and 118 student-athletes were Dean's List honorees.
This month Caterpillar and NC State are proud to honor Track's Georgia Davis and Baseball's Reggie Dixon.

It's tough to keep up with Georgia Davis. She's a standout runner on the NC State Women's Track and Cross Country teams. Plus, she's quick to hit the books as a standout student-athlete. The junior from Raleigh has compiled a perfect 4.00 Total Grade Point Average in her Parks, Recreation and Tourism major. She's also been on the NC State Dean's List every semester she's been on campus and was named to the ACC Honor Roll during the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons. Georgia was also named as one of the Top Ten Scholar Athletes at NC State at the recent Caterpillar Scholar Athlete banquet.

Reggie Dixon is closing out his freshman year playing baseball for the Wolfpack. The native of Snow Hill, South Carolina, has also enjoyed his first year in the classroom. Reggie has compiled a 3.31 Total Grade Point Average in his Criminal Justice major. He was also named to the NC State Dean's List for the fall semester of 2004.
Congratulations to both Georgia and Reggie and all the other Caterpillar Scholar Athletes.
Caterpillar and NC State ... partnering to make progress possible.
