Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields. Each month two Wolfpack Scholar athletes will be selected as a member of the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team. To be named to the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 GPA for at least one semester and be a full-time student at NC State.
During the Spring 2005 semester 236 Wolfpack Student Athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.00 or higher and 118 student-athletes were Dean's List honorees.
This month Caterpillar and NC State are proud to honor Track's Danielle Boucher and Baseball's Lee Mezistrano.

Daniell Boucher has spent her freshman year putting up great numbers in the classroom while also contributing to the NC State Women's Track team. She came to State from nearby Cary, North Carolina. Danielle has compiled a 3.64 Total Grade Point Average in her First Year College major. She also was named to the NC State Dean's List for the fall semester of 2004.

Lee Mezistrano is a veteran on the NC State Baseball team. The senior outfielder sports a fine batting average as well as grade point average. Lee has compiled a 3.24 Total Grade Point Average in his Communications major. He's also been named to the NC State Dean's List in three different semesters and was a member of the ACC Honor Roll during the 2002-2003 and 2003-2003 seasons.
Congratulations to both Danielle and Lee and all the other Caterpillar Scholar Athletes.
