NC State Student-Athletes Slated to Earn Degrees on Saturday

Forty-four current and former Wolfpack student-athletes will be among the 3,900 North Carolina State University students expected to receive their degrees at spring commencement exercises, which will take place on Saturday, May 14, at the RBC Center in Raleigh.
NC State's male recipient of the Kennett Award, Julius Hodge from the men's basketball team, will highlight the list of graduates. The Kennett Award is given annually to the university's top student-athletes.
This spring, 10 members of the swimming and diving teams will receive degrees, while nine members of the track and field/cross country squads are on schedule to graduate on Saturday. Football boasts seven in caps and gowns and members of the baseball team will earn four degrees. Women's tennis has three set to participate in commencements. Gymnastics and men's basketball each have two student-athletes graduating, and rifle, women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, men's golf and volleyball each have one recipient.
Also of note, Ashley Seaton and Janelle Vadnais of the women's track and field and cross country teams will be receiving their Master's of Art degrees.
