RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State student-athletes are in the midst Wolfpack Blitz this week, an annual campaign directed by the NC State Student-Athlete Development/Community Relations Department. Representatives from various Wolfpack teams volunteer to go into Wake County elementary and middle schools to meet and speak to school kids.
Wolfpack Blitz is visiting 17 schools in five days and Wolfpack student-athletes are speaking to at least 4,500 children in groups ranging from 20 to 740 students. The Wolfpack volunteers are discussing a variety of topics ranging from staying in school, listening, following directions, goal setting, good judgement, teamwork, responsibility and time management.
