Ballerano Shoots Par In Second Round

BATON ROUGE, La. - Lorraine Ballerano shot par in the second round of the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic Saturday to lead the NC State women's golf team. The Wolfpack remains in third place in the 16-team field at the par 72, 6,276-yard LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic.
Ashlee Dean carded a one-over score in the second round and is tied for 14th at four-over. Stephanie Derrey birdied four holes to fire a two-over in the second round. Molly Birmingham and Nancy Mountcastle also competed for the Wolfpack.
The host team, LSU, leads the 16-team field at 10-over and Chris Brady from Vanderbilt is in first place with a four-under total. The tournament concludes Sunday with a final round of 18 holes. Complete results and live scoring are available at www.golfstat.com.
