Zolton Repeats as EAGL Rookie of the Week

Raleigh, N.C. - Freshman Heather Zolton (New Port Richey, Fla.) of the North Carolina State gymnastics team has been named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Rookie of the Week for her performance this past weekend in the Hearts Invitational. This is Zolton's second straight week she was honored, as she helped the Pack to a first-place finish with a season-high score of 195.400.
Zolton competed in three of the four events, vault, bars and floor. She scored a 9.75 on all three of her events, and notched three top-six finishes. Her scores on both vault and floor were season highs.
NC State will compete at EAGL rival New Hampshire this weekend, before returning to Reynolds Coliseum to take on North Carolina February 25.
