Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields. Each month two Wolfpack Scholar athletes will be selected as a member of the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team. To be named to the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 GPA for at least one semester and be a full-time student at NC State.
During the Spring 2004 semester 236 Wolfpack Student Athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.00 or higher and 118 student-athletes were Dean's List honorees.
This month Caterpillar and NC State are proud to honor Softball's Brooke Isley and Football's Michael Fedewa.
Brooke Isley is a freshman pitcher on the NC State Women's Softball team. Brooke knows how to bring it, both on the mound and in the classroom. The native of Burlington, North Carolina has compiled a 4.00 Total Grade Point Average in her First Year College major. She was also named to the Dean's List during the Fall semester of 2004.
Michael Fedewa is a quarterback on the NC State Football team. The freshman from Oxford, North Carolina is not only learning the Wolfpack's system on the field. He's also adapted quite nicely in the classroom. Michael has compiled a 3.73 Total Grade Point Average in his Biological Sciences major. He was also named to the NC State Dean's List during the Fall semester of 2004.
Congratulations to both Brooke and Michael and all the other Caterpillar Scholar Athletes.
