Brogden and Haymore Named Caterpillar Scholar Athletes

Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields. Each month two Wolfpack Scholar athletes will be selected as a member of the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team. To be named to the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 GPA for at least one semester and be a full-time student at NC State.
During the Spring 2005 semester 236 Wolfpack Student Athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.00 or higher and 118 student-athletes were Dean's List honorees.
This month Caterpillar and NC State are proud to honor cheerleading's Jessica Brogden and Travis Haymore.

Go to a NC State sporting event and chances are you'll see Jessica Brogden in attendance. She's a member of the NC State Cheerleading squad. The junior from Holly Springs, North Carolina has compiled a 3.65 Total Grade Point Average in her Social Work major. Jessica's also been named to the NC State Dean's List four times since attending the university.

Travis Haymore is a dedicated Wolfpack supporter. The veteran of the NC State Cheerleading squad can be found at most events cheering on his favorite team. Travis has compiled a 3.53 Total Grade Point Average in his Computer Science major. The senior from Raleigh, North Carolina has also been named to the NC State Dean's List four different semesters.
Congratulations to both Jessica and Travis and all the other Caterpillar Scholar Athletes.
