Stefano and Sutherland Named Caterpillar Scholar Athletes

Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields. Each month two Wolfpack Scholar athletes will be selected as a member of the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team. To be named to the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 GPA for at least one semester and be a full-time student at NC State.
During the Spring 2005 semester 236 Wolfpack Student Athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.00 or higher and 118 student-athletes were Dean's List honorees.
This month Caterpillar and NC State are proud to honor cheerleading's Jacqueline Stefano and Brian Sutherland

Jacqueline Stefano is always behind the Pack. She's a veteran on the NC State Cheerleading squad. The junior from Cary, North Carolina has also made her mark in the classroom. Jacqueline has compiled a 3.89 Total Grade Point Average in her Psychology major. She's also been named to the NC State Dean's List four semesters since attending NC State.

Brian Sutherland can be found at NC State sporting events cheering on the Pack. He's a seasoned veteran on the NC State Cheerleading squad. Brian's academic performance is also something to cheer about. The junior from Greensboro, North Carolina has compiled a 4.00 Total Grade Point Average in his Zoology major. Brian has also been named to the NC State Dean's List all four semesters he's been on campus.
Congratulations to both Jacqueline and Brian and all the other Caterpillar Scholar Athletes.
