Eddins Named First-Team All-ACC

Stefani Eddins was named first-team all-conference Nov. 29 by the ACC volleyball coaches. The senior middle blocker from Irving, Texas started every match and played in every game for NC State this season. Eddins, the 12th all-conference volleyball player in school history, becomes the first Wolfpack volleyball player to earn All-ACC honors in 10 years and the first first-team selection since 1988.
Leading NC State in kills, kills per game, total attacks, attack percentage, block assists, solo blocks, blocks per game, points scored and points per game this season, Eddins ranks second in the ACC for attack percentage, third for blocks per game, 10th for kills per game, third for attack percentage in ACC games and third for blocks per ACC game. She is also nationally ranked in attack percentage and blocks per game.
A team co-captain, Eddins was picked to the all-tournament teams at the Magnolia Invitational, the Wolfpack Classic and was named the MVP of the latter. She ranks second in school history for both career and season attack percentage, ninth in career blocks and holds first and second place in season blocks. A Parks, Recreation and Tourism major, Eddins is a Dean's List student, NC State Scholar-Athlete, ACC Academic Honor Roll member and was selected to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team.
