Off The Court With Kelley Blakewood

Kelley Blakewood, a freshman on the NC State volleyball team, submitted answers to GoPack.com this past summer on a variety of subjects, most having nothing to do with volleyball. The defensive specialist from Gainesville, Fla., has played in every match this season and is second on the squad with 113 digs. The 2A High School Florida Player of the Year last year holds her high school's career record for digs. She led her club team, the Gainesville Juniors, to a third place finish at the 2004 AAU National Championships. Blakewood also played with the Florida that won the 2004 USAV High Performance Championship.
GoPack: If a movie were made about you, which actor would you want to play the part of you?
KB: Kristin Davis
GoPack: Why did you choose to come to NC State?
KB: I love North Carolina and the campus is beautiful!
GoPack: When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?
KB: Astronaut
GoPack: What was your most embarrassing moment on the court?
KB: While celebrating a big win at nationals when I was 15, I tripped on our setter's foot and fell flat on my face
GoPack: What has been your greatest moment outside of volleyball?
KB: My trip to Europe

KB: Listen to music and dance around
