Brittany Pacella, a freshman on the NC State volleyball team, submitted answers to GoPack.com this past summer on a variety of subjects, most having nothing to do with volleyball. The rightside hitter/setter from Reading, Pa., is recovering from knee surgery on a torn ACL, suffered last spring and will most likely redshirt this season. A four-year varsity letterwinner on the volleyball team at Reading Holy Name High School in Reading, Pa., Pacella was a two-time all-state selection, earning first-team honors as a senior. The 2004 Berks County Player of the Year and league player of the year, she was also a two-time first-team all-district and all-county selection. Leading the team to 25-3 record and runner-up finish at state championship as a senior, Pacella also played club volleyball for the Philadelphia Volleyball Academy.
