Men's Soccer Game Moved to SAS

Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team will take on Maryland-Baltimore County this afternoon, in a final tune-up before the ACC season opens this weekend against #2 Maryland. Today's game against UMBC has been moved from Method Road, and will now be played at the SAS Soccer Complex on field #2, the field located directly behind the stadium. The game time remains 4:00 p.m.
NC State is off to a 4-1 start to the 2004 season, including a perfect 3-0 at home this season. The Pack finished 1-1 at last weekend's Duke Adidas Tournament, losing in double overtime to Fairleigh Dickinson, then downing Columbia 1-0 in overtime on Saturday.
The UMBC Retrievers come into today's contest with a 2-0-1 record, having outscored its opponents 14-1 thus far. The offense is led by Derek McElligott (4 goals) and Mike Pennacchia (3 goals, 2 assists). In goal, Andy Marchica has a GAA of 0.40.
