Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields. Each month two Wolfpack Scholar athletes will be selected as a member of the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team. To be named to the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 GPA for at least one semester and be a full-time student at NC State.
During the Spring 2004 semester 236 Wolfpack Student Athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.00 or higher and 118 student-athletes were Dean's List honorees.
This month Caterpillar and NC State are proud to honor golf's Leslie Stubblefield and soccer's David Suffern.

Leslie Stubblefield is a Senior on the NC State Women's Golf Team. The native of Kennesaw, Georgia has posted low scores on the golf course and high scores in the classroom. David Suffern gets his kicks as a member of the NC State Men's Soccer Team. The Mechanical Engineering Major has compiled an impressive 3.83 Total Grade Point Average. The sophomore from Chapel Hill, North Carolina was on the NC State Dean's List in the fall of 2003 and Spring of 2004. David was also a member of the ACC Honor Roll during the 2003-2004 year.
