Men's Soccer to Play Brevard Wednesday at SAS

Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team will kick of its 2004 season Wednesday afternoon in a home match against Brevard College. The game has been moved from Method Road, and will now be played at the SAS Soccer Complex on field #3, the field located directly behind the stadium. The game time remains 4:00 p.m. The Wolfpack is coming off a good showing against #9 Old Dominion over the weekend. The Pack traveled up to ODU for its lone exhibition game of the season, and came away with a tie against one of the nation's top offensive teams. The NC State defense limited ODU to just five shots on goal, as keepers Jorge Gonzalez and Aaron Sanders each played 45 minutes to split the shutout. NC State played the game without its leading scorer from the past two seasons, junior Aaron King, and midfielders Federico Peria and El Hadj Cisse were each limited do to injuries as well.
