Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team put on an offensive show Saturday afternoon at the annual Red/White scrimmage. The White team topped the Red squad 4-1, with five different players scoring on the day. Sophomore Joey Bracker started the scoring off on the day, as he netted the Red team's lone goal. Bracker took a cross from freshman Ernesto Di Laudo, and found a wide open back of the net. The rest of the scrimmage belonged to the White team, which held a 11-3 advantage on shots. Junior Aaron King scored on a breakaway after receiving a pass from sophomore Santiago Fusilier to even the game. Just before halftime, sophomore Rami Ghanayem dribbled down the left sideline and slid his shot into the net for the eventual game-winner. Junior John Queeley and freshman Hugh Cronin each added goals late, both of which came from at least 30 yards out. NC State will travel to Old Dominion next weekend for its final exhibition contest. The Wolfpack will open up the 2004 season by hosting the Adidas Wolfpack Classic. The Wolfpack will take on St. Francis Saturday, September 4 at 2:00 p.m., and then host Temple on Sunday, September 5 at 2:00 p.m.
