Mario Williams Named First-Team All-ACC

Sophomore defensive end Mario Williams, who put together a slew of dominating performances for NC State's nationally top-ranked defense season, has been named to the All-ACC first team defense. Williams' teammate on the other side of the defensive line, junior Manny Lawson, was a second-team selection. Also being recognized as honorable mention selections from NC State were guard Leroy Harris and rover Andre Maddox. A starter in all 11 games, Williams led the Wolfpack in tackles for loss (15-82 yards) and was second to Lawson in sacks with six.
