Gonzalez, King Named All-ACC in Men's Soccer

RALEIGH, N.C. - Jorge Gonzalez and Aaron King of the NC State men's soccer team were both named to the All-ACC first-team by the Atlantic Coast Conference Tuesday morning. King, who leads the team in points (22), goals (11) and game winning goals (4), was also named first-team all conference last season. Gonzalez collects the conference honor as the top keeper for the first time, capping off a successful season. The redshirt junior from Guatemala City, Guatemala, has started 15 games and stopped 67 shots on goal for a .807 saves percentage.
Midfielder El Hadj Cisse earns all-freshmen honors following a stellar debut season in which he started 13 games and scored two goals.
NC State will battle North Carolina in the first round of the ACC Tournament this Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 8:00 p.m. at SAS Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. The winner of the NCSU/UNC game will face the winner of the Maryland/Clemson on Friday at 8:00 p.m. The championship game will be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
