Wolfpack Finishes Isleworth In 13th

WINDERMERE, Fla. - The NC State men's golf team had a rough day in the final round of the Isleworth Invitational Tuesday, slipping to 13th place in a field of 16. Jerry Richardson had the best score of the day for the Wolfpack, carding a three-over-par in the final round at the par 72, 7,426-yard Isleworth Country Club. Richardson finished 10-over and tied for 31st.
Stephen Lewton fired a 77 on the final 18 holes and finished 17-over. Garry Hill and Jeremy Langdale both finished 20-over and Banks Wood was one stroke behind them.
Georgia won the tournament with a one-under total. The Bulldogs' Chris Kirk and Pablo Martin from Oklahoma State tied for first place at seven-under. Complete results from the Isleworth Invitational are available at www.golfstat.com.
NC State returns to action Nov. 5-7, when it concludes the fall season at the Carpet Capital Collegiate at The Farm Golf Club in Rocky Face, Ga.
