RALEIGH, N.C. - Senior Salute
NC State women's soccer will celebrate its 2004 seniors prior to the 7 p.m. kick-off against visiting No. 23 Wake Forest Friday, Oct. 22. Midfielder Katherine Warman and forwards Erin Griswold and Anna Helenius will play in their final regular season home match for the NC State Wolfpack. During their time as a member of the women's soccer program, all three players have made significant contributions to the growth and enrichment of Wolfpack soccer, in the classroom and on the field. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication and best of luck in the future.
No. 13 Erin Griswold
From Garden Grove, Calif.
Forward
The tri-captain from California joined the Wolfpack after transferring her junior year from UC Santa Barbara where she earned All-Big West honors. During her two-year career with the Pack, Erin has compiled 18 goals, 11 assists and 47 points leading the team outright in points

both seasons as a forward. The senior has made a total of 33 starts in 34 games played and has 6 game winning goals in her career at NC State. Erin is also an excellent student as she earned ACC Honor Roll and Dean's List recognitions.

No. 18 Anna Helenius
From Turku, Finland
Midfielder/Forward
Anna joined the Wolfpack last season after playing in the Finnish Premier League in her native country. While at NC State Anna has made 29 starts in 34 games and has tallied 7 goals and 10 assists for 24

points. A member of the Finland U-21 National Pool in 2002, Anna has succeeded on the playing field and in the classroom. The tri-captain holds a 3.8 GPA and has been a member of the ACC honor roll and Dean's list throughout her career.

No. 19 Katherine Warman
From British Columbia, Canada
Midfielder
The All-ACC performer from Canada has made an immediate impact since her freshman year. During her freshman campaign Kat was named to the Southeast Region All-Freshman team by SoccerBuzz magazine and was a member of the Canadian National Team. The tri-captain was sidelined because of an ACL tear her junior year but that did not stop her from

bolstering impressive statistics for the Pack. Kat has started 69 games out of 70 games played and has 8 goals and 8 assists for 24 points in her career. Kat also performed well in the classroom being named on several occasions to the ACC Honor Roll and Dean's List. The senior was recognized for the highest GPA on the team her junior year.

"Kat has been a rock for us the past five years. She came in as a freshman and immediately made an impact in the ACC. She suffered through losing a season due to an ACL tear, but showed the meaning of perseverance in overcoming that obstacle and again become a key player in our system."
