Wolfpack JV Jumps Out To 14 Stroke Lead

SALISBURY, N.C. - Sarah Davis shot par in the first round of the Patsy Rendleman Women's Golf Invitational Monday and is in first place heading into the final round of the two-day event played at the par-72, 5,900-yard Country Club of Salisbury. Five Wolfpack golfers are in the top six, giving NC State's JV team a 14 stroke lead for first place in the field of 11.
Stephanie Derrey is two-over and in third place while Leslie Stubblefield is three-over and tied for fourth. Lauren Harling and Dawn-Marie Conaty are both four-over and tied for sixth. Jessica Vincent is nine-over and tied for 16th.
The tournament concludes Tuesday with a final 18 holes. Complete results will be available at www.golfstat.com.
