Wolfpack Travel to Georgia for Invitational

ATHENS, Ga. - The fifth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs will play host to the Georgia Invitational women's tennis tournament starting Friday and running through Sunday at the Lindsey Hopkins Indoor Center. NC State will compete in the event, which runs Friday, Jan. 23 - Sun. Jan. 25.
This event will be a quad meet involving the host Bulldogs along with NC State, Winthrop and Brenau. Georgia has four players nationally-ranked in the top 100 including Agata Cioroch who is number one along with freshman Shadisha Robinson (#12), sophomore Evgenia Subbotina (#56) and freshman Natalie Frazier (#68). The format will consist of a round-robin mock dual. Doubles matches will be played daily in the morning followed by singles in the afternoon. Matches will count for the players but no team score will be recorded.
The Wolfpack will return home to host UNC-Wilmington for the start of the spring dual season on Jan. 31 at 5:00 pm.
