RALEIGH, N.C. - The 2003-04 inaugural NC State softball team kicked off the new program with a picnic on Sunday, Aug. 17 at Pullen Park. The players had the opportunity to interact with one another casually, meet the support staff and enjoy a delicious lunchtime meal. The women also were introduced to their Worth equipment representative. Each team member tested out bats and tried on batting and fielding gloves.
Several pictures were taken to capture the historical occasion.
