RALEIGH, N.C. - After almost an entire season away from home, the eighth-ranked NC State baseball team will play an Atlantic Coast Conference series at home for the first time this season the weekend of April 25-27 when arch-rival North Carolina comes to Doak Field.
Renovations at Doak Field have limited the Wolfpack to just two games at the Doak this season, and those same ongoing renovations will have a significant impact on the North Carolina series as well. For fan safety and security, seating will be limited to 1,200 spectators per game. All tickets will be $7 general-admission seats, with no discounts for youth, senior citizens, or NC State faculty and staff. Children under the age of 2 (two) will be admitted free.
The first 200 NC State students to arrive and present a valid student ID at the gate will be admitted free. All other tickets will be presold, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, April 21, at the NC State ticket office. Tickets will be available by telephone at either 919-515-2106 or 1-800-310-PACK (7225). Walk-up orders will be accepted at the ticket office.
Telephone orders will be distributed during the week at the ticket office, or at the will-call window at Doak Field prior to the first pitch. No tickets will be mailed.
Game-day parking will be limited to the West lot across Sullivan Drive from Doak Field. Fans will be directed by foot around the stadium to the seating entrance above the third-base grandstand.
The series will be broadcast on radio on WKNC, 88.1 FM. The broadcast will be carried on the internet at gopack.com.
