NC State Baseball Rained Out At UVa

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The first game of the three-game Atlantic Coast Conference baseball series between eighth-ranked NC State and Virginia has been postponed because of cold, wet conditions at the UVa Baseball Field. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, April 19, beginning at 1 p.m.
The rainout will force NC State to play its sixth Saturday doubleheader in seven weeks. The Wolfpack previously played twin-bills on March 8, March 15, March 22, March 29 and Aptil 12. The Pack has won eight of the 10 games played in its previoius five Saturday doubleheaders this season.
All three games of the series will be broadcast on WKNC, 88.1 FM, and the radio broadcasts will be aired on the internet at gopack.com. Live in-game stats also will be available on gopack via the gametracker.
The first game of Saturday's doubleheader will be televised as the ACC's Game of the Week of Fox Sports Net.
