NC State will return to the courts of the Cary Tennis Center on Thursday at 2 p.m. versus East Carolina (12-5). The Wolfpack (6-6) hopes to get its second consecutive win and move to 7-2 against non-conference foes for the season. Thursday's match will be the first of three for the team over the following three days.
Last time out, the Wolfpack picked up a 4-2 victory over the Old Dominion Lady Monarchs. With a looming promise of rain, officials and coaches opted to play the singles matches first and bypass doubles action. NC State got wins from the middle of its lineup at the two, three, four and five flights.
Spectators will have another chance to catch the Wolfpack in action on Saturday, which is Senior Day. The Wolfpack will host Furman at 11 a.m. Three seniors, Myrna Bawono, Landis Strader and Loni Worsley, will be honored. NC State supporters are invited to attend a barbeque lunch at 12:30 p.m. in their appreciation, which will offer hot dogs and hamburgers to the public.
