NC State looks to rebound on the courts Friday, when the women's tennis team hosts No. 19 Clemson. Action is set to begin at 2 p.m. at the Cary Tennis Center in Morrisville. The Wolfpack fell to the Duke Blue Devils in its last outing, 6-1, and is now 3-3 on the season. The Tigers have won seven of its last eight and are 8-2 overall entering the match.
"We saw many positives in our match versus a truly talented Duke team," says head coach Hans Olsen. "Loni really battled hard to earn her win, and the team is going to build off of her strength. We hope to see the right adjustments against Clemson."
Last season, the Wolfpack suffered a 6-1 defeat at the hands of the Tigers, with the only point coming from Kristen Nicholls in the number two match.
