
Wolfpack Drops Home Match to Old Dominion

Will Shaw, a freshman from England, continues to take his opponents the distance, this time with a three set loss to Milos of Old Dominion. The freshman lost at No. 3 singles 6-1, 3-6, 6-1. As a team, NC State dropped the match to the favored, and nationally ranked Monarchs, 7-0. Rehman Esmail, Val Banada, and Jon Davis each took a set into the tiebreak before falling.
The Wolfpack will travel to Duke on April 2nd to take on the Blue Devils in the first of four ACC matches to close out the season. The Wolfpack is 0-4 on the season against ACC foes, and will play two of its final four matches at home, starting with Maryland on April 6, and Wake Forest on April 12.
