Match With Winthrop Cancelled Due to Rain

The Wolfpack will face Old Dominion at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Raleigh, N.C. - For the second time in 10 days, the women's tennis match between No. 63 Winthrop (12-0) and NC State (5-6) was called off by officials because of rain. Friday's match, a make-up from March 19th, was called mid-way through the doubles point when showers moved through the Cary area. Play was stopped twice before the decision was made.

There has been no decision as to whether or not the match will be rescheduled at this time.

The Wolfpack will continue its homestand with a match versus Old Dominion (6-6) Saturday at 10 a.m. The match will be held at the Cary Tennis Center in Morrisville.

Also, please note that next week's match versus ECU is scheduled to be played at the Cary Tennis Center and will begin at 2 p.m.
