Goldstein Named EAGL Specialist of the Week

Sophomore Cori Goldstein was named EAGL Specialist of the Week for her performance this past weekend.

Raleigh, N.C. - Sophomore Cori Goldstein (Plainview, N.Y.) of the NC State gymnastics team has been named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Specialist of the Week for the week ending March 9. The award is given to a gymnast who competes and excels in fewer than three events in a meet.

Goldstein helped the Wolfpack to a seasonal high 196.200 score as NC State won a quad meet against Pittsburgh, James Madison and William & Mary this past weekend. Goldstein finished first on beam as she matched her career-high with a 9.9 score. She also tied for fourth place on floor exercise (9.85).
