Men's Tennis Travels South For Two ACC Matches

The NC State men's tennis team will travel to Atlanta, Ga. and Clemson, S.C. this weekend for the Wolfpack's first ACC matches of the season. On Saturday, March 1 NC State will take on the No. 33 Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech at 12:00pm. NC State will head north for a match against No. 45 Clemson on Sunday, March 2 at 1:00pm.
Sophomore R.J. Murray and freshman Val Banada lead NC State in single's victories with four a piece. Banada has a flawless 4-0 record at No. 3 singles, while R.J. Murray has won three matches at No. 1 singles. Both won their matches against Texas-Arlington on Feb. 21.
Rehman Esmail and Will Shaw, both freshmen, have each won two singles matches against tough competition.
This two match weekend kicks off a four match road trip before the Wolfpack returns hom to face Florida State on March 9 at 1:00pm.
