Pack's Aaron King Named All-ACC

Raleigh, N.C. - NC State's Aaron King was named All-ACC first-team by the Atlantic Coast Conference Tuesday morning. King is the first NC State men's soccer player to named to the first team since the 1999 season, and the first forward from NC State since 1991. King has started all 17 games this season, and is currently tied for first in the ACC with his 11 goals and 26 points. King also led the ACC this season with his five game-winning goals. Also for N C State, freshman Santiago Fusilier was named to the ACC's All-Freshmen squad.
Fusilier is the freshmen with the most playing experience for NC State, starting as a center midfielder. He has started 11 of the 12 games he has played in, missing time due to injury. Fusilier has one goal and one assist this season, scoring the Pack's first goal against No. 24 Clemson and assisting on the game-winner against No. 7 Virginia.
NC State will battle No. 12 North Carolina Wednesday in the first round of the ACC Tournament. The contest will be held at SAS Soccer Stadium in Cary, N.C., and begin at 3:00 p.m.
