Wolfpack Men's Golf Lands Spot in NCAA Central Regional

INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA Division I Men's Golf Committee has selected the teams and individuals that will participate in the 2002 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships. Fresh off a second place finish in the ACC Tournament, the NC State men's golf team will be a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Central Regional to be held at the Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock Arkansas from May 16-18.
Following the regionals, the championships will be conducted May 29-June 1 at Ohio State University's Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio. Ohio State University is the host institution for this year's championships.
A total of 27 teams and six individuals have been selected for each regional competition with ten teams and two individuals advancing from each regional to the championships finals.
