NC State's Garth Mulroy and Justin Walters were named to the ACC men's golf all-conference team by a vote of the league's nine head coaches. It is the first All-ACC honor for both golfers.
Mulroy, a senior from Umkomass, South Africa, led the Wolfpack with a 71.9 stroke average this year and posted four top 10 finishes in his final season. He placed in a tie for second in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate and tied for fourth at the ACC Championships. Mulroy is currently ranked 32nd in the Golfweek collegiate individual rankings.
Walters is a junior from Johannesburg, South Africa and posted a 72.1 stroke average during 2001-02. He captured individual medalist honors twice this spring - at The Nelson Invitational and the Schenkel EZ-GO Invitational. Walters is ranked 45th by Golfweek.
The duo will lead the 11th-ranked Wolfpack to the NCAA Central Regional May 15-18 in Little Rock Arkansas.
