Pettersson Finishes 21st In PGA Tour Qualifying School

Carl Pettersson fired a 66 in the sixth and final round of the 2002 PGA Tour Qualifying School to earn his PGA Tour card for 2003. The native took no chances in the final round by slicing up the course en route to a tied for 21st finish. The top 35 finishers earn their 2003 PGA Tour Card.
Pettersson has had an exceptional year among the many professional tours, and his play earned him a shot at earning his card back. His six round total of 422 was six shots off of the lead. He carded rounds of 70-72-72-69-73-66 to finish at 10-under-par.
Pettersson joins another former Wolfpack golfer, Tim Clark, in the World Cup December 12-15.
