Women's Basketball Announces Alvine Mendeng's Entry into Lineup

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State announced today that junior forward Alvine Mendeng has met all of her transfer requirements and will consequently enter the Wolfpack lineup tonight when NC State hosts Elon at 7 p.m. Tonight will be the first time Mendeng has played in NCAA competition since her one-year stint at Kentucky.
The 6-1 forward from Doula, Cameroon, played in all 27 games as a freshman from 2000-01 with the Wildcats. She averaged 6.4 points and was second on the squad in rebounding with 4.7 rebounds a contest.
