No. 11 Tar Heels Sweep Wolfpack Volleyball, 3-0

Sophomore middle blocker Maya Mapp recorded a match-high 12 kills, but it wasn't enough, as the NC State volleyball team fell to No. 11 North Carolina in the games by the scores of 30-18, 30-23, 30-19. The loss drops the Wolfpack to 3-23, 0-8 in the ACC, while the Tar Heels advance to 21-1, 8-0 in the conference.
Senior Rebecca Anderson added seven kills of her own to go with seven digs, while setter Lindi Sheppard racked up 27 assists for the Wolfpack.
Outside hitter Laura Greene and middle blocker Aletha Green led North Carolina with nine kills each. Meanwhile, defensively, Green and outside hitter Camilla Ihenetu teamed up for seven total blocks on the night. Setters Eve Rackham and McKenzie Byrd finished with 20 and 13 assists for the Tar Heels as well.
The Wolfpack returns to action on the road this weekend against Flordia State. Match time is set for Friday at 7 p.m.
