Once again the doubles pairings for NC State Men's Tennis have come up big. Playing in only the second fall tournament of Coach Jon Choboy's first season as the Wolfpack head coach, NC State has already put together three doubles titles, one doubles consolation title, and a few consolation singles titles as well. R.J. Murray and Jon Davis won the consolation doubles title at the UVA Invitational almost a month ago and followed that performance up with the A-2 Doubles Title at the USC Fall Invitational. They defeated Cezar/Kilduff in the semifinals 8-1 before dropping the third seeded pair of Bolin/Santoso in the finals 8-6. The freshman duo of Rehman Esmail and Will Shaw have now played in two doubles tournaments in their collegiate career and in both events have been victorious. The duo defeated Hai/Intriago 8-4 in the semifinals before defeating Diaz/Serrano 8-6 to pick up the title in the B-1 Doubles.
Jon Davis also won the B-3 Singles Consolation final with a 6-4, 7-6 victory. Davis joins Murray as the only two returning players from last season.
