Men's Tennis Continues Play At USC Invitational

In singles action, R.J. Murray lost 3-6, 2-6 to Michal Kwiecten of Winthrop in Singles A-1 action and then picked up the win in the consolation bracket with a 7-5, 0-6, 1-0(8) victory. He fell 4-6, 1-6 to Orr in the 3rd round of the consolation bracket earlier today.
After falling to Santiago Falla of Charleston Southern 2-6, 4-6 in flight A-2 singles, Will Shaw advanced to the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket before being defeated 3-6, 6-7(4).
John Davis picked up a bye to advance to the round of 16 before losing to Kling from the College of Charleston, 2-6, 6-2, 2-6. Davis rebounded well, advancing to the B-3 Singles consolation finals with 6-0, 6-3 win and a 4-6, 6-1, 1-0.
Chris Mills lost 3-6, 6-7, 2-6 to Jordan Fanney of Wofford and then picked of a consolation win, 6-0, 2-6, 1-0(8). He then fell 4-6, 2-6 to end his run. Freshman Rehman Esmail lost 3-6, 0-6 and 2-6, 4-6.
