Bailey earns ACC Rookie of the Week honors

NC State's Liz Bailey garners this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Week honors. The walk-on from Raleigh, N.C., came off the bench to spark the Wolfpack to a 61-47 victory at Wake Forest in her ACC debut. She hit three consecutive three-pointers and grabbed two rebounds in a 2 1/2 minute stretch to help NC State gain an 11-point lead which it never relinquished. Bailey also tied the school record for treys by a freshman with six. She finished the game with a career-high and game-high 20 points as well as contributing five rebounds and three assists.
