Wolfpack Women Prepare For Showdown With Cavaliers

The NC State women's soccer team will open its ACC slate tonight with a match against the 13th-ranked Virginia Cavaliers (2-1) at 7:00 p.m. tonight at the WRAL Soccer Complex.

The Wolfpack split its first four games this season and is coming off a dramatic 2-1 victory over James Madison in overtime at the JMU Comfort Inn Classic.

The Wolfpack was scheduled to play last weekend in the ECAC Tournament in Cape Cod, Massachusetts but play was canceled due to the tragic events of last week.

NC State students will have the opportunity to win tickets to the NC State-North Carolina football game on Saturday, Sept. 29th. The five "most spirited" students will each win two premium tickets to the game.
