All-Star honors are nothing new for Andrea Stinson. As a standout guard at NC State, Stinson was a member of the All-ACC team in her junior year. Then as a senior in 1991, she went a step further by being named the league's player of the year.
Still, being recognized for a job well done never gets old. That's why Stinson wasn't taking anything for granted when she participated in the annual WNBA All-Star Game in Orlando, Florida on Monday night.
Selected as a reserve on the Eastern Conference squad, Stinson had four points off the bench as the East fell to the West 80-72. Lisa Leslie of the West team was named the game's most valuable player after scoring 20 points and grabbing nine rebounds.
