Stinson Joins Elite Company

Prior to Thursday night, only three players in WNBA history had scored more than 2,000 career points. Now you can add Andrea Stinson's name to that list. Needing just six points to reach the milestone, the former NC State guard hit for 15 as she joined Cynthia Cooper, Lisa Leslie and Jennifer Gillom in the 2,000 point club.
Otherwise, however, it was a frustrating night for Stinson and the Charlotte Sting, which fell to 1-5 on the season with a 73-59 loss to the Utah Starzz.
Stinson, who came in averaging 21.2 points per game, was 7-of-18 from the floor while also adding six rebounds.
