The WNBA's Charlotte Sting fell to 1-4 Tuesday night, but don't blame former NC State star Andrea Stinson. Despite Stinson's 22-point effort, the Sting came up short at New York, losing to the Liberty 79-70.
Coming off a career-high 25-point outburst in a Charlotte victory over the weekend, Stinson kept it going on Tuesday by hitting 8-of-17 shots from the floor, including 4-of-6 from three-point land. She also added five rebounds in 37 minutes of work.
New York's Tari Phillips rung up 27 points to lead all scorers.
