Wolfpack Golf Moves Into Second Place at NCAA East Regional

Williamsburg, VA -- NC State's men's golf team moved up to second place in the NCAA East Regional following the second round at the Golden Horseshoe Course in Williamsburg, VA. The eighth-ranked Wolfpack carded the lowest team score of the day, with an impressive 14-under par for a two-day total of 555. NC State stands only three shots behind leader East Tennessee State.
Wolfpack senior co-captain Chris Mundorf continues his hot play, firing his second consecutive 68 for a two-day total of eight-under par 136. The Greensboro native is in second place on the individual leaderboard and stands only two shots behind Camilo Villeger of Florida.
The final 18-hole round will be held on Saturday. The top 10 teams will advance to the NCAA championships to be held May 30-June 2 at Duke University in Durham.
