NC State Women's Golf Finishes Sixth at ACC Championships

Nationally-ranked Duke won the team title by a narrow three-shot margin over Wake Forest. The Blue Devils turned in a three-day score of 899. The Demon Deacons fired a tournament-low round of one-over-par 289 to close Duke's lead on the final 18 holes.
Malin Claesson once again led NC State, carding a 78 for a 54-hole total of to finish in a tie for 21st place in her first ACC championship. Margaux Hennessey was the Wolfpack's second finisher with a 259 to finish in 27th place. Rebecca Randolph and Sarah Davis finished one spot back in a tie for 28th with a 263. Alli Henderson came in 30th place with a 276.
Virada Nirapathpongporn won the tournament with an even-par 216 to finish five shots ahead of Wake Forest's Kathryn Brenny who came in with a 221.
